The other half

With thoughts of springtime on my mind, I finished these gorgeous spring green socks.

Pattern: Embossed Leaves Socks by Mona Schmidt, Interweave Winter 2005

Yarn: Lornas Laces Shepherd Socks, sage green

Needles: Inox circulars, US #1, 2 sets

Mods: A few simple things... I worked these on 2 circulars rather than double pointed needles. I completed 7 sets of the leaf chart and left off the last 8 rows to accomodate my little feet. In addition, on rows 14, 16 and 18 of the toe, I worked a knit row between the K2tog rows, adding a total of 3 rows. One last mod - for the second sock, I worked the pattern so that it would mirror the first sock.

Just in time for spring!
