Avery

I love knitting for other people.  So much so it seems that when I go through my finished Ravelry projects, a majority were made for someone else.  Usually the project is a gift for the holidays or a birthday.  It it a small accessory with thought given to their style, favorite colors, and something I know they will use.  This year I am knitting only two holiday gifts.  And the first one is Avery by Melissa LaBarre.

With a wonderful knit/purl texture, a huge tub of knitted fabric turns into a sophisticated infinity scarf or a cozy twisted cowl.  I like this one so much, I wish I could keep it for myself.  Or add it to the list of things to make for me!
