Baby Quilt
When I found out that our friends were having a baby girl I knew exactly what I wanted to make for her. I've admired this whole cloth quilt that Anna Maria Horner teaches a class for on Creative Bug. Her fabric is so beautiful and was lovely to work with. This is Sinister Swarm in Flour with a very light pink cotton backing from JoAnn's. I didn't really feel like doing a binding, so I just sandwiched the whole thing together and sewed around the outside before turning right side out. Then I used size 8 Pearle cotton in off-white to embroider around the moths and butterflies. A little label on the back and that was it. I love it!
