Peeking out

I'm ready for spring, but who isn't in the Northeast this time of year. We had a few days of summer - in the 80s - last weekend, but this weekend returns us to the rainy, cool weather of what seems more like early March than almost May.

Despite this setback in the weather, my knitting is helping me peek into spring and summer.

Pattern: Rusted Root by the gals at Zephyr Style, size S

Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool (less than three skeins)

Needles: US #6 circulars

Mods: I mirrored the decreases for the waist with increases for my hips!

I've got an almost finished EZ February Baby Cardigan, just needs a few more buttons and some ends woven in. I'm also in the planning and yarn-buying stages of a great summer cardigan for myself. It is actually taking elements from Rusted Root (the puffy sleeves) and combining it with the a cardi from Fitted Knits and a little of my own hopeful magic.
